VOTE!
Area:  Entire U.S.

With 43 days until election day we must stop hand-wringing about the state of affairs within our government and fight to elect Barack Obama as the President of the U.S.A.

This is what we can do to make a difference.

#1 - Voter Registration - Get to your local Obama campaign office, pick up some voter registration cards, and register a few family, friends, and neighbors.

#2 - Early Voting Starts This Week!  Do you know any truck drivers, college students, anyone going on vacation, not well enough to wait in line for hours, etc.?  Vote Early!

#3 - Get Out The Vote Nov. 4th - On election day our major focus has to be making sure that everyone we know cast a vote.  You should be making calls and receiving calls.

E-Biz Global

E-Biz Global (www.ebizglobal.org)  is our new online business network similar to MySpace and Facebook.

During our earlier communications with Black Hair Industry businesses, we discovered that many do not have a website presence.  This keeps potential new customers out of your reach.  Now each business can have a presence on the Internet.  There is no excuse.  You can have your own World Wide Web address for free within 3 minutes.

Sign in under your business name.  Add your business logo. Then create your web page.  If you already have a website, link to it from your business profile.

The many ways that this can be beneficial are  unlimited. If you haven't built a website that supports your business yet, you can set your own web presence up here.  If you already have a website, link it to your page in this global community.

If you need help signing up CLICK HERE.  There are instructions at the bottom of the page.

On Tuesday, September 23 We Care will participate in Lincoln University’s Agriculture, Agribusiness and Environmental Sciences “Virtual Experience” Career Day.  The focus of our presentation will be to connect career opportunities – including entrepreneurial pursuits – to  STEM education focused on Agriculture, Agribusiness, and Environmental Sciences.  We will also use our communication network to let parents and students know about the “Full Ride” college scholarships that are available.   We will also place relevant information on our websites.  Stay tuned to our new social networking site www.ebizglobal.org for updates.

Beyond  Career Day participation, we will be working with Lincoln U personnel to form an outreach to Black Farmers groups in Missouri.  We Care will also reach out to this group throughout  the U.S.  with relevant information that impacts their business.

Lincoln University is a Historical Black College University (HBCU) institution located in Jefferson City, Missouri.

We Care is also a partner with another HBCU institution, the Department of Chemistry and Physical Science at  Langston University (Langston, OK).  One of our joint projects is the Stem Digital Village at www.stemdigitalvillage.com.
