Celebrate Life
More Celebrate Life Info
Celebrate Life is a concept that believes in the joy of celebrating ones life despite ones HIV status.  In addition, this principle enhances the fact that 87% of Kenyans, 95% of Ugandans and 83% of Tanzanians are still HIV negative.  Therefore those who are HIV negative should celebrate their HIV status and protect it.  Those who are positive should be supported to live a joyful and productive life.  Both HIV negative & positive people can celebrate life! - Click here to view video of the "Celebrate Life Awareness Concert" (REAL PLAYER REQUIRED DOWNLOAD HERE) featuring legendary R&B group Kool and the Gang, held on October 8th, 2002 at Uhuru Park, Nairobi, Kenya.  The concert attracted over 500,000 people.  The music was punctuated with anti-AIDS messages and over 250,000 pamphlets were distributed.  On December 1, 2002 (World AIDS Day) the concert was rebroadcast to over 30,000,000 people in Kenya on the KBC (the Kenya Broadcast Channel).
