Preparation for Success

CS 100-PS
Preparation for Success.    Required for Young CEOs Training

An introduction to principles, class content, and expectations of Global Entrepreneur Training Program.  Beyond the pre-program assessment, Preparation for Success assesses skills such as writing and critical thinking; teamwork; networking; Internet research; and time management. Instructor-led and self-paced learning and interactive exercises are designed to improve skills to support successful experiences in studies and business endeavors.    Can also be taken as a stand-alone module that improves students’ readiness for college, work,  and other endeavors.

Overview:

No one said it would be easy.  However, it we align our goals with our passion and true strength, and prepare our minds and habits for excellence, the impossible will knock at our door, eager to enter.

Preparation for Success is designed to help students begin to think differently about their expectations of themselves.  It aims to expand their worldview by providing information on self-realization, building an economic base within their own communities, and approaching life and learning as a leader with a sphere of influence.  It reinforces theory through experiential learning, and hearing from people of color who have experienced success in their areas of focus.

Your class on October 16, 2007 will involve a review of all elements of the Young Entrepreneur training program, including class dates and time, materials to be covered, and a review of Preparation for Success.

Elements of Preparation for Success will be integrated into classes throughout this program. For instance, Teamwork will be incorporated into Group Tasks; Public Speaking will be practiced when you deliver a written and oral business presentation; and Networking will be incorporated into all you do.
